As an alumnus of El Sistema in Venezuela, Abiram strongly believes in the power of music & arts as instruments for social empowerment; a belief that has driven his extensive work with organizations granting access to the arts in underserved communities around the world.
Abiram currently serves as Director of Alumni Program at the Sundance Institute and supports different organizations in the United States as an El Sistema Advisor, Academic Consultant, and Guest Conductor for several Youth Orchestras.
THE HARMONY PROJECT
Harmony Project is one of the largest music education and youth development programs in the United States. Through ongoing programming in 8 different cities, and serving over 15 communities in Los Angeles alone, Harmony Project provides comprehensive, tuition-free music education and social support to thousands of youth.
Building upon our over 25 years of experience mobilizing volunteers, L.A. Works is addressing a significant gap in our sector by linking music & entertainment industry pros and underserved communities in Los Angeles through MusicWorks, its signature music program.

The Book of Wonders is a creative community developing original content for live and thematic entertainment.
Founded by Abiram Brizuela & Alexander Gonzalez, the company also provides free academic opportunities in all disciplines within the entertainment industry.
